A few years ago I wrote one of my first posts about Safari on iPad. A lot of things have changed on iOS since then so I decided to do a review and publish a complete Safari iPad tutorial updated for iOS 12.

There is a new way to listen to music on your iPad. Apple Music was launched on June 30th 2015.
What is Apple Music?
It is a music streaming service similar to Spotify.
A good analogy is to think about iTunes as your record store, while Apple Music would be like the Netflix for music. Apple users can purchase music on iTunes and then listen to their music through the Music App on iPad or iPhone. With iTunes, you own the music you play and the songs or albums are stored on your iPad, iPhone or Mac. With Apple Music, you stream music or play music remotely from Apple servers through the Internet on your devices. You pay a flat fee and can access about 30 million songs but you do not own the songs you play.

In March 2014, Microsoft launched Office for iPad. I got very excited and went ahead and downloaded the Word App. I wanted to write a nice post about it.
Very soon my excitement completely disappeared. This new App only allowed the user to “View” Word documents. To Edit and Save documents you needed to purchase an Office 365 monthly subscription…
Towards the end of 2014, Microsoft updated the App and allowed its users to View, Edit and Create Word documents for Free.
This post has been recently reviewed (in 2017) and the current terms are 30 days free trial to view, create and edit but after 30 days, you will need an Office 365 subscription to create and edit documents.

I downloaded the App from the App Store and realized it could be very useful to many of our readers.
What is the PDF to Word App?
In essence, as its name suggests, the App takes care of converting PDF files (*.PDF) into editable Word document files (*.docx).
According to their representative, the new .docx document generated by the App will have the same layout as the original file, but will be completely editable in Microsoft Word
