One thing I get asked frequently is how to open PDF files on iBooks.
What is a PDF file? PDF stands for Portable Document Format. It is a readable file format that cannot be modified, unless you have a special program to do so.
We see PDF files on a daily basis. For example, when we make a donation, we often receive a tax receipt by email as a PDF file. We may also receive invoices or event announcements as PDF files.
Many sample book chapters also come as PDF files

Many years ago, I used to buy cards for the holidays, take the time to write meaningful messages, look up the postal addresses and send them out to friends and family. As I grew up and time became scarce because of classes in university or work, there was a period of time when I stopped doing it. It was just too time consuming and other things had higher priority.
I was not the only one suffering from lack of time. But then, one day, I got my first eCard by email. It was not a very elaborated card but the idea was great! I loved it. Soon the eCards started replacing (partially) the mail cards. It was just too convenient

I usually listen to music on my iPod. Occasionally, I do listen to music on my iPad. Some weekends, I like waking up and turning the volume up loud to some of my favorites. Life with music is just fun!
The good thing with iTunes is that you can share your music among different devices (iPhone, iPod, iPad, Mac) as long as you are using the same apple id account on them.
I have many albums loaded from different artists. Some are good oldies I loaded through my Mac, others are just singles that I bought
Today I’m going to be sharing with you an interesting app for the iPad. You may have heard about it before. It’s called DropBox.
DropBox allows you to upload documents, pictures and videos to your account online and then be able to access them from any device when you connect to the Internet. DropBox is available for Mac, PC, iPhone, Android, BlackBerry and iPad.
This means you can upload files on your laptop and have them available on the iPad or you can upload files from your iPad and then view them on your laptop or phone. Sounds cool? it’s because it is!
You can also share files with other people
